Basically, I'm a 40-something kid with a small but good life in the Salt Lake valley. You know: work, family, not a lot else. I guess my reasons for doing this site are mostly related to the "not a lot else".
See, I'm one of these part-time creatives. The guy at the office who doodles in meetings, sketches the stapler at his desk, carries around books with names like Learning to See Creatively or Drawing the Living Figure.
I'm not planning to ever be an "artist", which is okay with me. But I'm one of these guys who needs some ongoing creative outlets. Get kind of cranky and depressed when I don't. And I guess this is one of them (an outlet).
So anyway, I draw. Take photographs, write things. Not very often or for very long at a time, since most of my time is spent on other things. Just often enough to keep me sane and smiling.

Well, I've got a wife who's all you could ever want and more. Three stepkids who are (with occasional lapses) all you could ever want and more. A 35 year old house and a 10 year old car. An eight(ish) hour-a-day job where I play around on computers.

- Sleep in a queen sized bed.
- Build and fix and break computers.
- Buy 2 pairs of jeans at a time and wear 'em 'til they're mostly holes, then buy two more. (I don't know why.)
- Can do some things a little better than average, but none of 'em a lot better than average.
- Don't drink.
- Don't smoke.
- Love red meat, but eat mostly chicken.
- Would rather read than watch tv.
- Make a mean peanut butter sandwich (this is not a joke).
What do I look like?
You know that actor who played Superman in the 70s and 80s, (the late) Christopher Reeve? Quite a bit like him, except shorter. And fatter. And balder.
I do wear glasses and have a disarming smile, though.
Just like Clark Kent.
